Quali (qualiincentive.com) is currently operated by an individual sole proprietor ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information we collect, how it's used, and what we don't do with it.

Quali runs primarily in your browser. When you import a GL, payroll file, or budget, that data is classified and stored locally on your device (via IndexedDB, with local storage as a fallback) — it is not transmitted to, or stored on, any server we operate. We have no ability to view, recover, or delete this data on your behalf, because we never receive it in the first place.
Quali includes optional AI-assisted features that are off by default. If you choose to enable them by providing your own API key, the specific data you submit through that feature is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider (currently Anthropic) — not routed through any server of ours. That data is then subject to the AI provider's own privacy policy, not this one. Your API key is stored only in your browser's local storage; we never see it.
We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate:
Beta signup information is retained until you ask us to delete it. Data you enter into the application itself stays on your device until you clear your browser's storage — we have no copy of it and no way to retain or restore it.
You can request deletion of your beta signup information at any time by emailing us. Because application data lives only in your browser, you control it directly — clearing your browser storage removes it completely.
Quali is a business tool intended for production accounting professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy as the product evolves — for example, if we introduce optional server-side features in the future, this policy will be updated to describe them before they're enabled by default.
